Now here's some good money for lobsters, ought to get fishermen around here a little excited, for a moment.  Apparently this past Monday, the first Swedish lobsters of the season sold for a record $7,062 per pound at the annual Gothenburg Fish auction.  Things are a little odd in this scenario.  You see there's a lottery that the fishermen there in Sweden participate in, the winner gets to accept the winning bid for the first haul of the season.  Then the lobsters are sold, for charity.

So, don't fire up the boat and try to make the long trip across the Big Pond for some real money, for a change.

The winning bid of $7,062 a pound far outdid last years bid of $2.187 per pound.  The high bidder said that he was willing to go higher if he had to.
