Seventeen dogs saved from death at a Mississippi animal shelter go up for adoption this Tuesday at 12 noon at the Bangor Humane Society!  Check these pups out!

The Southern Pines Shelter was overcrowded with animals up for adoption and the threat that these dogs may have been euthanized prompted the Greater Androscoggin Humane Society in Lewiston to team up with Bangor to bring them to the Pine Tree State for adoption.  More will be coming in the future.

According to a post on the Society's Facebook page, all dogs are seeing the veterinarian today for spay and neutering, along with any shots that are needed. The dogs will be up for adoption tomorrow, Tuesday the 20th at 12 noon.  There will be no "holds", phone calls, emails or other inquires accepted, you must show up to adopt, and typically they don't last long, so get there early!

Beginning tomorrow, the dogs and puppies will be listed on the Bangor Humane Society's website until they are adopted. Fees for adopted dogs ranger anywhere from $100 to $350, and can be found on the Society's website.
