25th Annual Community Food Drive
Once again this year, I-95 teams up with Bar Harbor Band & Trust for the 25th Annual Community Food Drive!
Beginning tomorrow, Monday, and continuing throughout Friday, November 22nd, every cash and non-perishable food donation that we collect will be used to stock the shelves of local food pantries. This is an easy way for you to help friends and neighbors in need have a good Thanksgiving, and to give them a head start on another cold Maine winter.
You can easily donate two ways! You can stop by any of the 15 branches of Bar Harbor Band & Trust and drop off your donation right there, just look for the display in the lobby!
Or, you can stop by any of our I-95 remote broadcasts and drop off your donation there! We’ll be set up right by the front door.
Friday (11/1), from 11am to 1pm at Bar Harbor Hannaford.
Friday (11/8), from 11am to 1pm at Shaws in Ellsworth.
Thursday (11/14), from 11am to 1pm at Tradewinds in Blue Hill.
Friday (11/15), 11am to 1pm at the Bayside Market in Milbridge.
Friday (11/22/), from 11am to 1pm at Tobey’s Market in South China.
Local food pantries that will receive your donations include: Bar Harbor Food Pantry, Westside Food Pantry, Emmaus Center, Loaves and Fishes, Tree Of Life, Maine Coast Sea Coast Mission Food Pantry at Weald Bethel, Island Pantry, Thomaston Interfaith Fellowship Food Pantry, Lifeline Food Pantry, Machias Food Pantry, China Community Food Pantry, Augusta Food Bank, Mid-Coast Hunger Prevention Program and Whiting Food Pantry.
