It was 46 years ago today.  Where were you when the puck went in?

On May 10th, 1970, the Boston Bruins won the Stanley Cup by beating the St. Louis Blues in overtime!  Bobby Orr took a pass in front of the goal from Derek Sanderson, creating history.

It was a time when hockey was overtaking New England.  Local kids had a new found interest in hockey, ice arenas were being built and school hockey programs were being started.

It really was all because of one guy.  Bobby Orr.  A hero to millions all over New England.

By the way, I watched the game with my dad.  I was just ten years old, and we were both pretty excited at the end of the game.
