Most men I've met would rather poke their eyes out than have to sit through chick flicks. I mean, where are the car chases and explosions?! But, for your loved one, give her an evening of chick flicks. This means, sitting through whatever she wants to watch. You can't fall asleep or roll your eyes at the sappy parts. Keep her popcorn bowl and beverage glass full. And hold her hand. She'll love it!

What meal always makes her smile? Is it something that you can cook? If so, treat her to a home-cooked meal. It doesn't have to be perfect, but she'll appreciate the effort. And, if you add some candles, soft music, and wine, that will help too! Personally, I love it when a man cooks for me and I'm always touched when I realize he's noticed my favorite foods.
