Swedish scientist have recently discovered that eating lingonberries could prevent weight gain in people with a high-fat diet.
In addition to making the eater able to consume high fat courses without weight gain the lingonberries also seemed to have a positive effect on blood sugars and cholesterol in laboratory mice.
Researchers do warn “While the findings in mice are exciting, it should absolutely not be interpreted as a license to eat an unhealthy diet as long as you add lingonberries! “
