Dear Santa Paws,

I know this hasn't been my best year. I know I have been a little (okay, sometimes more than a little) grouchy with the humans in my life. But Santa Paws, I've also had a rough time. I lost my home in July, and all these new things and people and strange smells... it's been a scary time. Now that I finally realized that I'm safe, I'm not being so grouchy anymore. I even play with the kittens now!

Santa Paws, can you please forgive me for the times I've been naughty? There's only one present I want this year, and that's a home of my very own. Can you send me the right person - the one who understands that age is just a number, and the fact that I'm twelve has nothing to do with the important things in life? I want a home, Santa Paws. And I promise that next year, I will be a very, very good kitty if you find it in your heart to give me one.

Happy Howl-idays,

Rusty Cutie-Paws
