A Feast For The Eyes and Senses – Flavored Fireworks [VIDEO]

Could this be the next big thing in Fireworks? – Flavors and scents. We’ll have to wait a while in the US but this coming New Years Eve in London the first flavored fireworks will hit the skies.

Creators of these  innovative explosions tout the air will be filled  with bubbles containing  peach snow, zesty orange and banana confetti.

The pair named Bompas & Parr are food scientists and have taken on the task of giving Londoners a full sensory experience adding both tatse and smell to the fireworks display.

According to Sam Bompas, food scientist, ‘The concept of the world's multi-sensory firework display came from researching grand historic spectacles. We realized nothing of the sort had been attempted before and that it would be a genuine world first. 'It's a massive responsibility.'

We’ll have to keep our eyes on the BBC to see if they pull it off.
