A More Down Home Black Friday Option

If the thought of going to the mall on Black Friday makes you break out in hives and yet if you have company visiting you want to do something how about a low key adventure into the brilliant minds of seasoned Maine craftsmen. Sound good? Then plan to head into Brewer for the 42^nd Annual Thanksgiving Art & Craft Show at the auditorium.

This year the show runs November 25- 27. Hours are Friday, 10AM - 4PM; Saturday 9AM - 4PM; Sunday 10AM - 3PM and incase you have never been to the Brewer Auditorium it is located at 203 State Street in Brewer.

There is a $2.00 admission if you are over 12 years old and last checked I believe you were.

The group’s webpage promises Nearly 100 local Maine artisans displaying their crafts at one of United Maine Craftsmens oldest and most popular shows. Also, thirty local businesses donate food with all proceeds benefiting "Neighbors Supporting Neighbors".

Sounds like fun to me.
