When Bad Company appeared here in Bangor back in July we got a firsthand look at one of the best singers in rock and roll!

The lead vocalist of both Bad Company and Free turns 65 today!

Rodgers was once voted the best singer in England, and he came in at #55 in Rolling Stone magazine's listing of the "100 Greatest Singers."  At one time Rodgers even fronted Queen, singing in place of the late  Freddie Mercury.

In the Rolling Stone article, singer Alison Krauss said, "His voice is so tough and so masculine, he might as well be standing there with a gun while he's singing."

Let's celebrate Rodgers birthday with a few of our favorite songs that he has sung.  Here's ours, what are yours?

Let me know IN THE COMMENTS SECTION BELOW, on the I-95 FACEBOOK PAGE, email me at I95@MidMaine.com or call me in the studio at 991-9713, and I may play your song today during "A Whole Lotta Lunch" today at 12 noon!
