The nesting peregrine falcons have done their thing, and now the trails that have been closed since April have been re-opened!  Acadia National Park officials say the Precipice Trail, the Precipice Cliff area, and the Orange and Black Path on Champlain Mountain are now open for hiking, horseback riding and biking.

There are over 120 miles of trails in Acadia. More details on the trails can be find here, and more information on other hiking trails in Maine can be found here.
