Being on hand for a special listening party to preview the new AC/DC record is cool enough, but how about being surprised by appearances from Brian Johnson and Angus Young while you're at it?

As previously reported, a select group of lucky fans were able to enjoy a sneak peek at the group's upcoming 'Rock or Bust' LP at a special event held yesterday in New York's Webster Hall. All attendees walked away with commemorative T-shirts, and each ticket-holder was automatically entered to win one of several prize packages, including a guitar signed by Young -- all of which would have made for a memorable evening on their own. But the announcement promised "special surprises," one of which was watching Johnson and Young stroll out onstage with producer Brendan O'Brien.

ABC News Radio reports that the band's founding guitarist and longtime singer showed up just prior to a viewing of the music video for the title track, after which a pair of cannons erupted, showering the crowd with confetti. You can watch Johnson and Young's entrance in the video clip above.

AC/DC have endured plenty of turbulence lately, including co-founder Malcolm Young's forced retirement due to debilitating illness and drummer Phil Rudd's surprising recent legal woes, but judging from the reaction of the crowd on hand in the video, 'Rock or Bust' still delivers the band's signature brand of hard rock. The album is scheduled for release on Dec. 2 and available for pre-order now.
