Actress Bonnie Franklin Dies

Former One Day at a Time star Bonnie Franklin has died.  She was 69.  In September, it was reported that the actress was undergoing treatment for pancreatic cancer.

On One Day at a Time, which aired from 1975 to 1984, Franklin portrayed Ann Romano, the divorced single mother of two daughters, played by Valerie Bertinelli and Mackenzie Phillips.  Franklin received both Emmy and Golden Globe nominations for her work.
