After visiting Maine last spring, the drumming superstar has decided to open his own place with former vice chairman of the Boston Red Sox, Les Otten.

Joey Kramer has announced he plans to open the Rockin’ & Roastin’ Café & Restaurant near Sunday River. The restaurant is scheduled to open in December, according to a press release, in the space that now houses Phoenix House & Well restaurant.

A coffee house, bar, and restaurant all rolled into one! This new place will feature great views of the mountain and live music. Of course it will also showcase some really cool rock memorabilia including Kramer's glow in the dark drum set!

The best part is the coffeehouse menu featuring fresh baked goods, and sandwiches. Some of the sandwiches are named after puns of Aerosmith songs such as "Janie's Got a Bun" and "Livin' on a Wedge".
