There you are, stranded on a deserted island somewhere in the Caribbean with the girl from the Hannah and her Horse DirecTV commercials.  The bad news is that you can only have ONE of these two albums with you.  Damn!

Which one would it be?

Yes, the two debut albums by a couple of the seventies most popular bands make it a tough decision!

The debut album from the Boston based band fronted by production wizard Tom Scholz sold over 17 million copies in the United States and 25 million worldwide. Chances are, if you grew up in New England you had a copy of this in your 8-track case.  The album featured the beautiful voice of the late Brad Delp on such now classics like More Than A Feeling, Peace Of Mind and Rock And Roll Band!

The album came out in 1974, and the band was being called England's "super group."  It was comprised of Paul Rodgers and Simon Kirke from Free, Boz Burrell from King Crimson, and Mick Ralphs from Mott The Hoople.  The album had a very clean, hard and simple rock sound and was the first album released on Led Zeppelin's Swan Song record label.  It features great songs like Can't Get Enough, Ready For Love and of course the title cut!
