That trip to Boston just got a whole lot more interesting!

The Amtrak Downeaster, the passenger train that runs between Brunswick and Boston, will once again feature the Great Dome Rail Car between August 11th and September 23rd.

The vintage car that was built in 1955 seats passengers on an upper level and features windows on all four sides, along with smaller windows on the roof.  Needless to say, the unique car gives passengers very cool views of all things Maine, New Hampshire and Massachusetts!

After purchasing a ticket to board the Downeaster, the seating in the car is then available on a first come first served basis, and Amtrak suggests that riders rotate in and out so that everyone can enjoy the experience during their ride.

All aboard!
