Two nights ago it was Junichi Tazawa faltering late, last night it was Koji Uehara. The Red Sox dropped another one run decision at Fenway Park, losing to the Angels 4-3.

After fighting back to tie the game 3-3, Uehara came in to pitch for the 10th time in the last 17 Sox game and he gave up back to back doubles to the bottom of the Angels order that pushed across the winning run.

Koji has given up a run in each of his last two appearances.

Rookie starter Allen Webster worked the first six innings allowing three runs on six hits.

David Ortiz had a couple of hits including his 29th home run.

Perhaps the biggest play of the night happened back in the second inning when Brock Holt had a 3-run homer taken away on a great catch by Angels rightfielder Cole Kalhoun. It would have put the Sox up 4-0 at the time and the night might have been much different. Check it out here...
