Augusta Woman Facing Sex Abuse Charges

An Augusta woman is facing charges after allegedly sexually abusing a minor.

Loni Ingalls, 36,  of Augusta was arrested and charged with three counts of sexual abuse of a minor with the victim being under the age of 15 years old, police said in a statement on Monday.

The arrest came after a two-week investigation and a search of her Drew Street home.

Ingalls was taken into custody and transported to the Kennebec County Correctional Facility with no bail allowed.
