Bangor Mall Cinema 10 Experiencing a “Partial Power Outage”

A partial power outage continues at the Bangor Mall Cinema 10 complex.  Last week's windstorm damaged a power transformer on a phone pole, which in turn damaged the underground power cable that feeds the site. The power cable needs to be dug up and repaired, which doesn't sound like a lot of fun during these cold winter days.

Meanwhile, the theater continues to show movies in three of it's ten theaters, and will continue to do so until full power is restored.  According to the theater's Facebook page, they're serving up complimentary coffee and hot chocolate, along with some free samples.

They ask that you call to get the latest update before coming over, the direct line is 942-1409.  An employee from the Cinema says that "a blanket wouldn't be a bad idea"!

With any luck, power should be fully restored by late Tuesday!
