Bangor Mall Crowd Honks I-95 Listener Into Van Halen Show [VIDEO]

Drivers around the Hogan Road entrance of the Bangor Mall were treated to an unusual sight Thursday morning when I-95 listener and all-around cool guy Dave Davis of Bucksport followed though on a dare he made himself.

Dave said he would stand in front of the busy mall entrance in a blond wig for 95.7 minutes with a sign reading "Honk so I can win Van Halen tickets." After hundreds of honks from passing motorists, he's going to the show on Thursday, July 30 at Darling's Waterfront Pavilion!

The tickets were supposed to be a surprise for his wife, Crystal, but we kind of ruined that when we called his house to set up this meeting. Sorry about that, guys.

Anyways, Crystal came along Thursday and hung out with us. It was really fun, and they were both very groovy (like all of our listeners.) And thanks to the Bangor Mall for letting us set up at the entrance. Boy, that place is busy!
