Bangor Neighborhood Evacuated For Gas Leak [Update]

Bangor Police and Fire have cleared a neighborhood affected by a gas leak this morning. Residents have returned to their homes after being evacuated and traffic is flowing once again.

The leak has affected the neighborhood including Fern, State, and Garland Streets. A Bangor police dispatcher told us the gas was been shut off and residents were evacuated.

There's no word, at this point, where the leak originated. No one was hurt in the incident.
