Bangor Police arrested a man this week in Old Capehart wanted in connection with a meth lab on Hammond Street, and he allegedly was making it again.

The investigation into the Hammond Street operation has been ongoing for about a month, which is also how long police have been looking for 49-year-old Jeffrey Miller. WABI-TV reports that, on Wednesday, Police went to a home on Deer Isle Road and arrested Miller.

While they were there, police searched the residence and found evidence of a small meth-making operation. Miller was arrested and taken to jail for the original charges. Any additional charges for the Deer Isle Road discovery are pending.

Maine Drug Enforcement Agency Commander Peter Arno told WABI-TV that this is the 72nd meth-related incident this year. There were only 56 incidents in all of 2015.
