Bangor Police are asking for the public's help finding a man who robbed a Bangor convenience store on Wednesday night.

Sergeant Tim Cotton says the robbery happened at around 8:30 Wednesday evening. A man wearing a mask and dark clothing entered WeeBeez Market at 181 Court Street in Bangor. He indicated to the female clerk that he had a gun and demanded cash, then ran in the direction of Charles Street with an undisclosed amount of money.

A K9 track was done by Officer Fanning and K9 Aki, but there was no sign of the suspect. He's described as being approximately 240 pounds, 5'11" tall, wearing dark blue jean and dark sneakers. He was wearing a dark, hooded windbreaker at the time of the robbery. Police say it's possible the suspect may have a tear-shaped tattoo near one of his eyes.

Anyone with information related to the case is urged to call the Bangor Police Department or their anonymous tip line at (207) 947-7384, and hit Option #6.
