It's going to be a busy construction season.

Bangor Public Works has decided that Bangor's winter ravaged roads are more of a priority than planned widening projects. After an ol' fashioned Maine winter Bangor's roads need some TLC to say the least. Massive potholes are everywhere, some in which could damage vehicles if not avoided.

$350,000 was set aside for the widening of parts of Essex, Ohio and Davis Road. The roads are the only remaining projects apart of a three-year bond project to make roadways more assessable to pedestrians and cyclists.

Bangor Public Works will still attempt to complete the widening projects if the budget will allow.
