Things are a little different in Bangor this November 1st.

Bangor's winter parking rule would normally take effect tonight, November 1st, where city residents were banned from parking on the streets during the overnight.  Not so this year, according to a Facebook post by Bangor City Councilor Ben Sprague.

In the post, Sprague explains that "the rules will now go into effect on the night of the first winter storm as determined by the Police Chief and Public Works Director and then will stay in effect through March 31."

So park freely my friends!  But, keep an eye out for an official announcement as to when Bangor's winter parking ban officially goes into effect!
