Bangor’s National Night Out Is Tonight

It's a night of awareness that neighborhoods across the country just like Bangor's are on the watch for crime and drug use.  It's a great night for the community and police to come together as one and have some fun!

Bangor's Night Out Against Crime happens tonight between 6 and 8 at Stillwater Park Playground, on Howard Street. This is a completely free public safety event designed for kids and their families!

Tonight, Taylor Rental will have an inflatable obstacle course set up, the Bangor PD K9 unit will hold a demonstration, as will the Bangor Bomb Squad with their robot!  Trucks and firefighters from the Bangor Fire Department will be there along with officers from the Penobscot County Sheriff's Office conducting iris scans. There will be snow cones, hot dogs and prize giveaways too!

Come on out tonight and let criminals know that our Bangor neighborhoods are organized and fighting back!
