The Bar Harbor Police Department is  looking for a man who robbed the Rite Aid Pharmacy just off Cottage Street on Thursday, November 15th. The police say a man handed a note to the clerk at approximately 6:45 PM demanding drugs. He then took off , reportedly with two bottles of oxycodone, and no one was physically hurt in the incident.

Police checked cars as they left the Island, at the head of the Island, near the former Parkadia store. At this time, the thief remains at large. Anyone with information, is asked to call the Bar Harbor Police  Department at (207) 288-3391.
The roadblock exacerbated the traffic delays that residents and commuters were facing last night as a result of the paving near the Hancock County Bar Harbor Airport, with reported delays lasting as long as 45 minutes to a hour at around 4:15 last night.
