Here in Maine, we have plenty of black bears running around - hopefully most without their head stuck in a bucket.

Folks in Perry Township, Pennsylvania, had been watching and taking pictures of a particular bear that had been roaming the area with a bucket stuck on its head.  They even gave it a name, "Bucket Bear."

When a Facebook page was created, Dean Hornberger and his girlfriend Samantha Eigenbrod, decided to help the poor critter out.  They spent hours tracking and then trying to capture it.  When they finally did, it took some doing to get the metal bucket off of the bear's head.  But they did.

The bear didn't stick around long afterwards to say thank you or anything like that, but I can imagine that many animals lovers spoke out for him, or her.  Bet it was heading straight for the dinner table!
