Her dream was to always make a child's wish come true, and even with the long time teacher's recent passing, that dream continues.

A benefit spaghetti dinner will take place this Wednesday, December 21st, between 4:30 and 6 p.m. at the Trenton Elementary School to benefit the Make-A-Wish Foundation, the organization that makes the wishes of very sick young children come true.

It was a cause that Beverly Locke supported, and now even with her passing on December 11th, the benefit dinner is a way for her to continue that long-time support.

Admission to the dinner is $6 per person or $20 per family, and 100% of the proceeds will go to the Make-A-Wish Foundation. It's being sponsored by the Mount Desert, Trenton and Surry schools.  For more information or to make a donation, contact LKane@MDISS.org
