Bill Murray, Jan Vogler & Friends Show Tonight In Portland

Wow, this seems like a hoot!

Bill Murray sings and reads American classics, backed by a classical trio. Who would have thunk?

Last year Murray released an album called "New Worlds", featuring Jan Volger, a German cellist, along with Vanessa Perez on piano and Mira Wang on violin. They;re taking the album on the road with a show that kicks off tonight at Merrill Auditorium in Portland. Looks like Portland is the only show here in the States so far, as the foursome will play Germany, England and Iceland beginning in May.

The four-person show looks very well done. The music is above standard and Murray is warm and funny!
