Bill Submitted to Ban Fireworks … Again

Just as quickly as they came, they may be banned ... again! Oh, the humanity!!

The state house has a bill before it that seeks to ban fireworks in Maine. The bill was submitted by representative Michel Lajoie. His rather weak argument for the banning is because of the disturbance the fireworks cause at all hours of the night. It's also startling animals...REALLY!?

Banning kinda seems harsh to me. Why not town elected curfews for the use of fireworks? And maybe getting Bambi a set of earmuffs.

In all, 20 people across the state where hurt by fireworks.
