Black Bear Caught on Video Running Through Brewer Streets [VIDEO]

A black bear paid a visit to Brewer this week, and found himself near the high school. One quick-thinking spectator pulled out her phone and shot some cool video!

Thanks to Christie Goulas for sharing her video with us. She was in the right place at the right time, and took video of the bear traveling through the Hannaford parking lot. You can see the animal running from the access road that runs next to Hannaford, into the parking lot, and then it makes a beeline for the athletic fields behind Brewer High School. He's a black bear, so maybe he wanted to play some football!

Officials never caught up to the bear, that quickly found his way back into the woods. This is the second wild animal sighting in a Hannaford parking lot, as an employee of the Skowhegan store was greeted by a moose recently! Only in Maine!
