The Maine Army National Guard's 126th Medevac Unit will arrive in Bangor tomorrow, Friday, at approximately 2pm for a welcome home ceremony!

Nicknamed the "Black Bears", the unit has been flying and service Black Hawk helicopters in Kuwait for the past 12 months. The approximately 82 civilian soldiers have been at Fort Hood Texas recently going through the "debriefing" process.

Family members and friends will anxiously welcome them back home tomorrow with a ceremony at the Army Aviation Support Facility on Hayes Street in Bangor.  The facility is right off the Odlin Road at the edge of the Bangor International Airport.

Unfortunately, the unit returns home without Staff Sgt. Jessica Wing of Glenburn, who died while in Kuwait.

We thank them all for their service and warmly welcome them home to Maine!
