A end of summer tradition begins this Thursday when the Blue Hill Fair opens!  The livestock, the rides, the food, the events and the games all await you this Labor Day Weekend!

Along with Llama demonstrations and blueberry pie eating contests, this years fair will also feature musician James McMurtry and his Band Friday night at 7:30, and comedian Bob Marley Saturday night at 7:30!

There will be helicopter rides once again this year, along with very special stuff like Chris Perondi's All Star Stunt Dog Challenge happening daily, and amazing acrobatics with a comedic twist during The Red Trouser Show Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Monday!

One of the best fireworks displays in Downeast Maine will happen Sunday night at 9, and The Crown Vics perform Monday night at 7!  For a full schedule of events go HERE!

The fair opens Thursday at 4, and it's also "Dollar Day", with general admission and the price per ride only $1.

Regular general admission on Friday is $8, with the price going up to $10 Saturday, Sunday and Monday.  Kids under 12 are free all four days.  Parking is also free.

Monday is "Wristband Special Day", where a $20 wristband will allow you to ride all the rides as often as you'd like.

Senior Citizens day is Friday, with those 62 and over only paying $3 to get in.

Dogs are not allowed on the fairgrounds.
