A body found today is presumed to be one of two women who just recently went missing from the Brunswick area. The cause of death is believed to have been suicide.

The Portland Press Herald reports the body of Lisa Marie Cox has been found hanging from a tree in woods near Maquoit Road in Brunswick. Searchers have been looking for Cox since she was reported missing on Tuesday morning. Monday evening, at around 10:30, she had walked away after an argument with her boyfriend over cigarettes. Because she wasn't dressed for the cold temperatures, officials were concerned for her safety. Cox is originally from Brunswick but has been living in Dallas, Texas with her boyfriend for the past several years.

In another case, 34-year-old Sarah Meade of Brunswick and her 5-year-old son have been reported missing. The Press Herald reports that Sarah's car was spotted Tuesday night in Westford, Massachusetts. Her family says she doesn't have any ties to that area, and so they don't know why she would be there. Police say she may be missing against her will but have not explained their reasons for the possibility.

Police continue the search for Meade, who is reportedly driving a blue 1999 Volvo with Maine registration 1637SZ. The vehicle was last seen traveling in Westford Tuesday night. Anyone with any information about her whereabouts is urged to call the Brunswick Police Department at (207) 725-5521.
