Boil Water Order In Ellsworth Has Been Lifted

All's well within the Water Department in the City of Ellsworth once again!

At about 1:45PM today, Friday, the boil water order that had been in effect for about 21 hours has been officially lifted.  Water in northern Ellsworth is safe to consume once again, according to the Ellsworth Police Department's Facebook page.

Thursday afternoon a boil water order was issued for areas north of the Mill Mall because a water pipe had broken within the construction zone on State Street.
