Boogie Bucksport Gets Spooky Saturday and Now Sunday, Too

This Saturday and Sunday the City of Bucksport will turn into Ghostport! 

Long known for the curse that someone put on Jonathan Buck and the witches boot that has mysteriously appeared on his grave stone, the city on the banks of the Penobscot will get even spookier this Saturday, and now due to the pending wet weather, events will happen Sunday too!

Beginning at 6PM on Saturday it's the Zombie Apocalypse and Dance hosted by the Orland Market and then fireworks over the river that night!

All the morbid action pretty much begins around 10 a.m. on Sunday.  That's when the "Spirited Vendors" take to the Waterfront and that's when the "Little Goblin's Parade" begins down Main Street.

Around 1:45PM it's the "Parade of Coffins" on Main Street, followed by "Jonathan Buck's Race To The Grave"!  Just imagine the spectacle of all these coffins pushed by gouls and goblins up Main Street to Jonathan's final resting place.  He would be so proud!

Also remember that right across the river is the annual "Fright at the Fort" event at Fort Knox in Prospect.  This year's event is titled "Zombie Apocalypse"!  It takes place this Friday and Saturday night and also next Friday and Saturday, hours are 5:30 - 9PM.
