Dzhokhar Tsarnaev is set to make his first court appearance in Federal Court in Boston today.

The surviving Tsarnaev brother is facing the death penalty for his alleged roll in the bombing of the Boston Marathon back in April. This will be his first public appearance since he was found bleeding in a dry docked boat.

The courtroom is expected to be packed this afternoon. Space is being reserved for victims and their families, though it's not known how many plan on attending. An overflow courtroom has been set up to broadcast the hearing for the media.

The 19 year-old is charged with using a weapon of mass destruction that killed three people, and wounded more than 260 others.
