The Bangor Watefront was rainy and rocking Wednesday night as rock legends Boston and Cheap Trick took the stage at Darling's Waterfront Pavilion.

Cheap Trick started the show with "Hello There," which also opened their famous show at Budokan that launched their careers as rock superstars. The band, rightly introduced as the "best bleeping rock and roll band in the world," then launched into an hour-long set that included their classics "Dream Police," "I Want You To Want Me," "The Flame" and "Surrender."

While Cheap Trick was a tough act to follow, Boston was up to the task, getting the crowd on its feet as they started their set with the classic "Rock and Roll Band." The band, which recently released new music, played a mix of those new tunes and their classics such as "More Than a Feeling," "Amanda" and "Satisfied."
