Boston will bring its "Heaven on Earth Tour" featuring Cheap Trick to the Bangor Waterfront this summer.

The tour, which will stop at Darling's Waterfront Pavilion in Bangor on July 2, comes after the release of "Life, Love & Hope," Boston's first studio album in more than a decade.

Boston hit the rock and roll scene hard in 1976 with the release of their self-titled album. With over 17 million copies sold, the album produced hits including "More Than a Feeling," "Peace of Mind," and "Smokin'," that have become staples on classic rock stations throughout the country.

Cheap Trick has sold more than 20 million records since the '70s and are known for their hits including “I Want You to Want Me,” “Surrender,” and “The Flame."

Their 1978 album "Live at Budokan" sold more than 3 million copies.

Tickets go on sale to the general public at 10 a.m. on Friday, March 21. Tickets are available via waterfrontconcerts.com and all Ticketmaster outlets.
