Tom Brady has done many things in his career but until today has never been the teams leading passer and rusher in a game. His play led the Patriots over the Jets 30-23.

In what was easily their worst performance of the season the Pats were able to make just enough plays to walk away with the win and improve to 6-0 on the season. It's just the third time in franchise history they have won the first six games of the season, joining the 2004 and 2007 teams.

New England's offense was plagued all day by dropped passes including 5 by Brandon LaFell who was making his first start of the season after coming off the P-U-P list on Saturday. He has missed the entire season after having foot surgery in the of season. Rob Gronkowski, Julian Edelman and James White had their share of drops as well.

After Taking a 3 point lead just before halftime, New England was able to find a little more rythym in the second half as Brady threw touchdown passes to Gronkowski and Danny Amendola. Brady finished the game 34-54 for 355 yards in the air which is where the ball spent most of the day. The Patriots offense only ran the ball 9 times with Brady having 4 of those runs for 15 yards and a touchdown.

The Patriots will have a quick turnaround as they play the Thursday night game this week when they host the Miami Dolphins. Miami has won two in-a-row under interim head coach Dan Campbell and have scored a total of 82 points in those two games.
