Breaking Bad broke the bank last night with serious advertising costs.

Walt and Jessie's adventure has come to a spectacular end, and AMC is rolling in cash. The Breaking Bad season finale last night cost advertisers a very pretty penny. How much? How's $400,000 sound? Oh, and that's just for a 30 second ad!

Surprisingly the price tag is in the same range as advertising during season finales of 'American Idol' and 'Modern Family.'

1.2 million people tuned in to watch the first episode of Breaking Bad in 2008. Last night 6 million fans were seeing the show cone to an end. Business Insider says 6 million not BB's audience peak.

The show has lead to a small economic boom in Albuquerque, New Mexico, where the show is set. Tourism has been on the rise since the show's premier. Businesses are all looking the carter to 'the Breaking Bad experience.'
