Line crews in the town of Surry were pulled briefly yesterday after a frustrated customer made death threats against them. The AP reports that the customer was upset because crews were not working on a part of the grid that would restore his power.

The customer reportedly approached the line crew and then made a threatening phone call. State police investigated and they're not planning to file any charges against the man.

Workers returned to the area a short time later to continue restoring power after the weekend's ice storm.
