If you happened to be watching the college football championship game this past Monday night between Alabama and Notre Dame, you got an eyeful of Katherine Webb, Miss Alabama USA.Katherine was sitting in the stands with her boyfriend's family cheering on the Crimson Tide.  She just happens to be the girlfriend of Alabama quarterback AL McCarron.

The game was being broadcast on ESPN, and of course now a days broadcast networks are continuously looking for the story line to make the game more interesting.  But what was interesting were the comments made by 73-year-old sportscaster Brent Musburger and his broadcast partner as they took in the beautiful Katherine Webb.

As the cameras found Webb Monday night Musburger said, "Wow, I'm telling you quarterbacks: You get all the good looking women.  What a beautiful woman ... Whoa!"

Brent was just having himself a "time!"  He continued, "If you're a youngster in Alabama, start getting the football out and throw it around the backyard with some pop!"

ESPN issued an apology yesterday, saying that the comments may have gone a little too far.  Ms Webb said though, "It was kind of nice. I didn't look at it as creepy at all. For a woman to be called beautiful, I don't see how that's an insult."

Alabama won the game, and ESPN viewers won too, by seeing Katherine Webb!
