The beautiful Brewer Waterfront has a new business that will offer craft beer, just in time for concert season.

I love the Brewer Waterfront walk. If you haven't taken a stroll along the landscaped walking path, you really should. It's paved, so it's easy walking, and wide enough so you never feel crowded. There's a beautiful garden, that features a small bridge and a waterfall feature!

Jim and I have found that we love going down there during concerts on the Bangor Waterfront. People sit in their folding chairs, listening to music as kids play around them, and dogs greet passersby. It has such a nice community feel, like an old-fashioned summer festival in the town square.

And this summer, folks who go to enjoy the music will also be able to refresh themselves with craft beer! Mason's Brewing Company is nearly completed, at the Hardy Street end of the walk. The 20-barrel brew house is scheduled to open in April and will feature craft brews, a small kitchen, and outdoor tables, so folks can listen to the music.

Thinking about this has made me even more anxious for summer, great music on the waterfront, and an ice cold craft beer. I can't wait!
