A Brewer man faces charges after allegedly robbing a Bangor convenience store Sunday evening.

Levi Cote, 27, faces charges of robbery and theft after he told a clerk at Cameron's Market on Ohio Street that he was armed. He demanded money and one pack of cigarettes, according to police.

The clerk complied with the demands and the individual fled the area on foot.

Cote was located and arrested on Monday afternoon, police said.

Cote was also charged in connection with the theft of an automobile that had occurred earlier in the day on Sunday. He was charged with Unauthorized Use of Property in that case.
