Brewer Police Arrest Store Employee in Big Apple Robbery
Brewer police have arrested a second person in connection to a robbery at the Big Apple convenience store. It appears to have been an inside job with a store employee conspiring with Meghan Herbert of Bangor to stage the robbery.
Stephen Thoner, 37, is charged with felony theft. Police say Thoner was an employee at the store and planned the June 10th robbery with Meaghan Herbert of Bangor.
Police say Herbert entered the store, assaulted Thoner, and left with the money. She was identified as the robbery after a surveillance video was circulated to the media. Herbert was previously arrested and has been charged with robbery and drug trafficking.
