Bring Your Dachshund To Belfast For Maine Wienerfest On September 9th!

Dachshund lovers from all over should get excited for Maine Wienerfest taking place in Belfast on September 9th! Its going to be a full day of short doggo awesomeness. Gates will open at 10:30a.m. that day, with events beginning at 11:00a.m., and going  right through 3:00p.m. There's a new event firing off about every 30-45 minutes, all day. Events include are things such as a Dachshund parade, raffles, costume contest, a hot dog cookoff, and many others!

Wienerfest takes place every year down at Steamboat Landing Park right in Belfast, always the Sunday after Labor Day. It's a great time to get out and enjoy some fun time with your own dog, but also for your to meet others so they can have doggie social time, and have some friends to play with that are their own size for once! Some of the contests have very small (no pun intended) registration fees...like a couple bucks here and there, but nothing that remotely breaks the bank.

So bring your long and short Fido down and let them have the seat of honor all day! It seems like it'll be a fun time whether you own a Dachshund or not. for that matter, it'll be fun just to watch them all run around, playing.
