Bronx Man, Maine Couple Charged with Dealing Heroin, Cocaine

A Bronx, New York man and a couple from Presque Isle were arrested in Presque Isle on Wednesday and charged with distribution of heroin and cocaine.

Akahenten Ferguson, 28, of the Bronx, New York, has been charged with (2) counts of unlawful trafficking in heroin and cocaine.

Nathan Manning-Harris, 31, and Alexsea Cholewa, 22, of Presque Isle each also face a charge of unlawful trafficking in heroin and cocaine.

The arrest came after agents from MDEA’s Aroostook Task Force in Houlton executed a search warrant Wednesday morning at 138 Reach Road apartment “B” in Presque Isle. There, agents discovered 125 bags of heroin and nearly 2 ounces of cocaine, with a combined street value of approximately $9,000.

All were transported to the Aroostook County Jail.

There were two children, ages 2 and 4, present at the time the warrant was executed. DHHS was notified.
