John Mellencamp is truly one of our favorite multifaceted artists.  He paints, heads up much of Farm-Aid and now he can add Broadway to his repertoire as  his musical collaboration with Bangor native Stephen King with Ghost Brothers Of Darkland County.

I have been following this play since it's inception so how excited am I to see that is will be coming as close to home as the Collins Center. Announced earlier this week by  AEG Live, the southern gothic, supernatural musical Ghost Brothers of Darkland County will tour across North America this Fall. Written by best-selling author Stephen King, with music by Rock and Roll Hall of Famer John Mellencamp, and musical direction by Grammy Award-winning T Bone Burnett, the tour kicks off right outside Bangor, ME at the Collins Center For The Arts in Orono, ME, on November 8, traveling through cities such as Toronto, Chicago, New York, and Los Angeles before wrapping in San Francisco on December 5.
